2026 Evaluation & Draft Date. New Balls. New HR Rules.
March 31st:
6:00pm: 60’s new player evaluation, followed by draft
7:00pm: 50’s new player evaluation, followed by draft
* Draft location will be coordinated directly with managers, players are not permitted to attend the draft
April 7th:
Week one of regular season play begins
Note:
Balls: this season we are using Baden Fire senior softballs.
Each team will receive 13 balls, managers will mark each ball with their team name and be responsible for bringing them to their games.
Teams will hit their own balls and be responsible for retrieving their own home run and foul balls. The league will not fetch balls for you; board members are here to play ball just like you are, they are not your butler.
We are using the same number of balls as last season, we are only changing how they are distributed. We recommend keeping your balls in a sack and have enough balls to play a full game.
We purchased extra balls in case someone forgets theirs or ruined the ones they were given.
If a team wants or needs additional balls, they will be available for sale at a cost of $5 per ball.
Do not use game balls for your personal batting practice sessions, you will be disappointed is you overuse them and are hitting mush balls in the playoffs.
Home Runs: we have changed the home run rules.
Each team may hit a maximum of (6) per game
Subsequent home runs will be recorded as an out.
