50’s MVP Voting: because Elite/Onyx only got 14 regular season games, we are allowing their stats from their first playoff game to count towards our regular season totals (all other teams played 15 games). Elite/Onyx is the #1 seed and will have a bye in playoff week 1, which means we won’t calculate final regular season stats until after the 9/1/26 games. We will put together a stat summary for 50s like we did for 60s, plus conduct a survey for league MVP.
Softballs: managers, please let Mel know if you need any and if so, how many. We want you to have clean, fresh balls for playoffs

Player Behavior

When a player on your team drops a ball in a critical situation, do you yell at them and tell them they are trash? No, you don’t, because you’re better than that and you support them even when they screw up. Umpires are as much a part of this league as the players, they are here for us all season long and we have relationships with them the same as we do our teammates. They are to be treated with the same kind of respect and consideration as anyone else in this league. They are doing their best but will make the occasional error, just like you will. If you disagree with a call and feel compelled to let them know, do so with grace and class.
